Where care becomes connection.

Support that helps your loved one build confidence, independence and a life they genuinely enjoy with a team who shows up, listens and truly understands.

Registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider supporting young people and adults with disability and mental health challenges across New South Wales (NSW), Queensland (QLD) and Western Australia (WA).

This isn’t just support and it shouldn’t feel like it.

You’ve probably experienced it before, different support workers every week. Having to re-explain routines, preferences, triggers. Support that feels rushed, clinical… disconnected.

That’s not what care should feel like.

At Care Done Differently, we believe real support starts with real relationships built on trust, consistency and genuinely understanding the person behind the plan.

The same support workers, week in and week out

Support that adapts to your loved one, not the other way around

A team that takes the time to build trust, not just tick boxes

When support feels right, everything starts to change.

Whether it’s appointments, social activities, hobbies, or simply getting out and about, we focus on creating meaningful, enjoyable experiences that build independence and connection.

Auslan & Communication Support

Because everyone deserves to be understood. Our team provides Auslan (Australian Sign Language)-supported services for Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals, as well as support for those with communication barriers, creating more inclusive, empowering everyday experiences.

Real stories. Real change.

Every person we support is on their own journey and while no two stories are the same, the outcome often is, more confidence, more connection and a life that feels fuller again.

Why families choose Care Done Differently.

Every person we support is on their own journey and while no two stories are the same, the outcome often is, more confidence, more connection and a life that feels fuller again.

Consistency that builds real trust

We don’t rotate staff week to week. Your loved one is supported by familiar faces who understand their routines, preferences, and needs — creating a sense of safety, comfort and trust that allows real progress to happen.

Support that focuses on outcomes, not just yours

We’re not here to simply fill shifts.

We’re here to help people:

  • Build confidence
  • Develop independence
  • Reconnect with their community
  • Achieve meaningful personal goals
We believe support should move life forward.

Experienced in complex and mental health support

We support individuals with a wide range of needs, including:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Intellectual disabilities
  • Mental health conditions (including anxiety, bipolar and behavioural challenges)
  • Cerebral palsy and physical disabilities
  • Communication barriers, including non-verbal participants
Our team understands the importance of patience, consistency and adapting support to each individual — especially when trust and confidence need to be rebuilt.

A leader in Auslan and communication support

We are one of the few providers offering Auslan-
supported services in our region.

This allows Deaf and hard-of-hearing participants, as well as those with communication challenges, to engage more fully in everyday life, community activities and support services.

Communication should never be a barrier to independence.

Support that feels human

Everything we do is grounded in genuine connection.

We take the time to understand each person not just their plan, but who they are, what they enjoy and what matters most to them.

When people feel understood, they’re far more likely to thrive.

Built on experience and driven by purpose.

Care Done Differently was founded by Hanah in 2024 after years of working within the support and healthcare system.

She’s seen firsthand where things don’t work.

Where people feel like numbers and where support becomes inconsistent, impersonal and disconnected.

She knew it could be done better, so she built something different.

A service grounded in consistency, genuine relationships and a belief that every person deserves to feel understood, respected and supported in a way that actually improves their life.

Today, that same philosophy shapes everything Care Done Differently does, from the people they hire, to the way they support every individual and family.

Let’s find the right support for your loved one.

Whether you’re just starting your NDIS journey or looking for a provider who truly understands your situation, we’re here to help.

We take the time to listen, learn about your needs and create support that feels right, for both your loved one and your family.

That’s what we mean by unlocking potential.
